Guarantee Policy

The guarantee covers defects in material and workmanship

Showpiece at Home will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this guarantee. If considered covered, Showpiece at Home through its own service operations, will then, at its sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. If it is covered by this guarantee, Showpiece at Home will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, labour that Showpiece at Home incur, provided that the product is accessible for repair without special expenditure.

This guarantee does not apply to the product if it has been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products.

This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

Privacy Policy

In order to process your order we need to ask for your name, address and contact details. We keep these details on file so that we know who our customers are and we can deal with any service queries or returns.

When you place your order, you need to enter your email address so we can send you confirmation emails. By doing so, you are allowing us to send promotional newsletters. If you wish to unsubscribe, you can do so by clicking on the unsubscribe link in any email sent to you.

Right to Cancel and Returns Policy

Under the ‘Consumer Contracts Regulations’ you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receipt of goods without stating any reason.

It is important to us that you are entirely happy with your purchase. If you are not totally satisfied, then please follow the procedures below.   

To implement the right to cancel, you must first inform us via email (hello@showpieceathome.com) of your decision to cancel the contract of sale within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Goods can only be returned without reason if they are unused and still in the original packaging. You will be required to bear the postage cost or collection fee of returning the goods.

We don’t accept liability for items that get lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Showpiece at Home may make a deduction from your reimbursement for collection costs and for any loss in value of the goods supplied if there is evidence of actual product use or if the item is not resalable.

Showpiece at Home will be happy to give you a full refund within 7 days of receiving the returned items by the same method as your original payment for products that are returned with proof of purchase in new, unused and re-saleable condition and with the packaging.    

We are unable to offer refunds or exchange products that have been made to order unless they are faulty.

Faulty Goods Policy

 

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund within 30 days from receipt of goods. After 30 days, you will not be legally entitled to a full refund if your item develops a fault.

When Goods Arrive Policy

On receipt of delivery, please unpack carefully and check over your goods. If upon delivery of your items, you unfortunately discover any faults or damages please notify us immediately by sending a photo and brief description to sales@showpiecdesign.co.uk.

If an item or part is found to be missing, even after 30 days, please locate the part name or code in the assembly instructions and notify us via email.

The Showpiece at Home team will aim to resolve the issue efficiently by replacing or sending any damaged or missing goods free of charge as quickly as possible.
